Saturday 1/11:
Headed out targeting wild browns in the warmer temps. Not a big numbers day, but I had two fish break the 20" mark.

Saturday 1/18:
Headed out for a quick session before the snow. The snow started early, and freezing braid and guides were annoying but I managed walleye. I left when the wind was blowing snow in my face. Rumor has it I missed Fast Eddie by only a few minutes!

Beautiful Browns Tuna man and a nice Walleye. Yes I’m hot on your trail recently visiting old spots I frequented over 25 years ago. This river helped me earn my Eagle Scout badge as a teenager and I have many camp/canoe trips growing up here. From Narrowsburg, Port Jervis down through the Bend, Poxono, Belvidere, Riegelsville and all the way down to Trenton where I launched the boat for Stripers in April. We used to catch the river Herring on Sabiki rigs and liveline em’! These were the good ole days. But times have changed unfortunately. I don’t need the GPS coordinates here in my backyard. :D
