2019 Ganesh pull is in the books. Logged many hours the past 10 days on the Raritan river. I am not anti-religion but pro-clean water. Thanx to those who checked in on Facebook from the Millstone and D&R canal also.

There has to be a better way to celebrate than to dump a statue of that size into a public river.
Maybe just dip it in for an hour then take it out?

This is a huge problem in India and a major source of pollution in their rivers and lakes. A solution was trying to be made by the government to have soft clay statues that would dissolve in the water. Also, to have those statues painted with food coloring based paints.

what if you wait there till they're done, scoop them all out when they leave and then sell it all back to them next year?
