Does anyone know if it is yet possible to fish lake Musconetcong from a kayak yet? Last time there in spring it was terrible! Couldn't us my motor or even have my transducer out. Paddling was a chore. My club has a tourney thetr in October and I'm thinking were going to have to find a new lake.

Def need a minn Kota weedless prop in that place. You should schedule the tourney before the weeds come in April-May by June it is a wall to wall weeds. The Weeds might die back some by mid October but are still present.

Yea, I know it's a weedy place but this year it has excessive floating weeds. Last year it was great . This year you need a gas powered motor to move in ther and I don't think that will even work.

i think they lowered it in the fall of 2017 to try and kill off the water chestnut.
it wasn't lowered last year so the weeds are back with a vengeance.
