Raritan was choco milk so I checked out middlebrook to get on some dinks.

I went under the 22 bridge and stood still ontop of the dam/rock pile for an hour and caught 78 sunfish (mostly bluegill + redbreast, a few greenies and pumpkinseeds) and 2 smallmouth bass.
First time getting a smb in the middlebrook, good to know they come up that far into the brook. I dont think they go any further up tho but I can't say for sure.

I also tried the pond by the new mall with the two huge fountains (behind the nordstrom) yet I dont believe there are any "fish" in there. For a nice sized pond with two HUGE fountains working hard to pump oxygen into the water, you'd think they put a few sunnies in there?

None but that was part of my hopes. Surely has to be some trout swimming in that brook as I heard peter's brook did just a month ago.
