This was caught back in May, and it took me over 3 years to beat my 6.5LB LM, I caught this in the upper Chesapeake Bay. It weighed 7.01 lbs

What a beauty...congrats!!
I miss those prespawn fish...a postspawn large head/skinny body bass is one of the more depressing things in fishing.
What did you catch it on if you don't mind me asking?

Great fish and congrats on the PB!
Agree with reason on the postspawn bigguns— it’s sad when you see that huge head and then pull them out of the water and realize it’s just finished spawning—you weigh them and they aren’t even 5 lbs when you expected something close to 7.

I cant agree with you more. I caught a absolute monster at Manasquan res. the fish was so big that it woulnd't even fit caddy corner in my livewell, and it only weighed 4.5lbs LOL
