Hit Lake Musconetcong for the first time for a quick hour, pulled out this guy on a swimjig. But Holy weeds!!!!!! I ve never seen such a thick matted patch in my life!!

that place needs to be dredged. with a max depth of 5' in the main lake and mud bottom it is the perfect place to grow weeds...the back half is choked out with water chestnut..

Nice bass. They used to run a weed machine in there during the summer, what happened ?

I don’t know but they need to get that thing running as soon as possible lol

They bombed it with chemical weed killer beginning in 2010. Because of the chestnuts. Wiped out most of the weeds, but what was very clear, clean water became turbid with dissolved weed matter. The abundant pickerel population declined.
