Went out fishing with a medium sized crowd for sea bass. I pulled the hook on a 22" or so striper at the dock. Then I limited in my first two drops for sea bass. Nothing huge, but no measuring. Fish were spitting up little sandeels and anchovies. Caught a few jigging but mostly smaller fish than on bait. Also had a 13" tog on the diamond jig. Later in the day we went out deeper for ling and it was tougher. Water was dirty and the fish were just hanging on the bait. I picked 6 fair sized ling but definitely had many more tentative bites than that. Pool fish was a sea bass of maybe 2 3/4lbs.
