MDW Delaware River trip

What’s up everyone... wondering if anyone has any advice or pointers for me. I’ve been going up to campsite soaring eagle for long time every mdw now but only recently took up fishing seriously last year or so. It’s in equinunk PA along I believe is the main stem of Delaware. Last year was first year I tried to fish.. didn’t have any luck but saw others floating down river catch in boats. I’ll mostly be fishing from shore since we have site right on river. But we rent kayaks and float down two times so planning on bringing poles.. any help would be appreciated... was a tough go last year and would love to increase my odds lol

X2. Also should still be some shad in the river, so bring a few darts as well.

Size #2 sliver bladded Mepps spinners, for fishing the Delaware don't leave home with out them. (and get at least a half dozen cause that river eats spinners).

We've caught everything on them from smallmouth to trout to rouge shad. Used to wade fish below Barryville down to where Mongaup dumps into the mainstem.
