The Raritan Fish Cam is live once again. Check out our website to see it in action:

Our new Youtube-hosted platform allows for pausing and rewinding. It's color during the day and B&W at night. Best viewing is probably mid-day through late afternoon. The water is a bit murky at the moment, but will hopefully clear up soon.

The live feed was made possible this year by the Rutgers Raritan River Consortium (R3C)!

This thing is so cool. Tuned in for a minute at work and saw a largemouth bass and then 30 seconds later 3 shad swam past! Gotta love it.

Saw 5 Gizzard shad. Gizzard and American can look similar, gotta look for that knife edge tail on the American Shad, the Gizzard have more of a bulbous tail.

I got a million things to do at work but I'm sitting here in my office watching the fish cam!

Huge eel at 13:13:43. I love this camera and look forward to it every year. With the connection with Youtube it is awesome to pause and rewind!!

I wish cameras like these were more common, and their installations easier.

They were cleaning the glass at 14:10 with the long handled scrub brush and almost hit a SMB on the head :D
