i fished the cong sat afternoon and sunday till 3:00pm and had a slower crappie bite. the fish were a little bigger but harder to find. the little guys are still shallow but if i fished deeper than i have been fishing the fish were harder to catch. still getting them on the jig-n-bobber and the smaller swim jig. the green weeds are better than the half dead ones and the fish are scattered around, i would catch 2 or 3 fish and would have to move to find more. i even got my first rock bass of the year on sat on the jig-n-bobber. the slime darts like the swim jig a little to much so i don't throw that to much, but the bigger crappies hit that sometimes and it is a great search lure. the fish pictured range from 11" to 14" i am still looking for those 15" to 16" fish that i know are out there.

I fished up there yesterday and had a few crappie, yellow perch, pickerel, white perch and yes a couple of stocked 11" rainbows - all hit a jig under a float or a nightcrawler just freelined.
