River Eyes and Bronze!!! 4/13

Got out last Sunday for a few hours in between the little mans baseball games. The Smallies were slamming the 3.5 inch easy shiner wrecklessly! Fun little session on the Big D!

Got out yesterday for the midday bite and this time I had a very nice mix of Small Smallies and 4 keeper Walleye to about 21 inches. The 21 incher was super skinny and spawned out! Dropped 3 though as they went too aggressive in the middle of the day. I had to finesse them out slowly! But it’s all good. Finesse fishing is what I do! Those damn Keitech’s are pretty deadly right now. Get em’ while there hot, LOL! Great session on the river yesterday! TIGHT LINEZ!!

nice bronzebacks the way they fight and add the river current and you have some fun there. was there floating debris like weeds n stuff around? heard the diddy moe was bad up north of there.

There is a little algae snot or whatever floating down but it’s not as bad as the northern parts of the river. The water was very dirty south of here and brown. Stopped a few spots to look for Shad but they didn’t cooperate for anyone I talked to Saturday. They just don’t like that dirty water. Thanks for looking guys! Catch em’ up! :D
