Started today off at the valley doing the trout thing again managed to set up the spread and land one laker really quick. The wind kicked up early and couldn’t keep the right speed.Started to head home and met up with Reddi and got in on the hot crappie bite that’s been going on close to home. Found em quick in 4-5 feet water. Kept our limit and released a bunch biggest went 16” ish quite a few were net worthy! https://i.postimg.cc/JtXdbTft/33-CC34-E2-F99-B-4-EBA-9135-BA9420-B7-EFFA.jpg (https://postimg.cc/JtXdbTft)

Wow, Nice... wish we had crappies like that in NY.. Contrary to popular belief NJ has much better crappie fishing than NY.. We have them at some lakes but keepers are tough to find an an 11 incher is a big one.
Black lake and lake george have good crappie fishing, but thats more of a late May thing in NY state, and both those lakes as far away from me than the NJ shore is... bob
