the crappie bite took a huge crap when the temps dipped sunday night so we went eye hunting in the river instead. took a bit to find them, but once i got the right drift/retrieve combo i whacked 3 at 21-23" from the same spot :)

hoping the crappie bite heats up again today so Eddie stops yelling at me for molesting the river eyes :o

Nice eyes. They sure are biting now. Saw another get caught on the Raritan just yesterday.

No closed season on the river. Enjoy it while you can! Hard to get em from land most of the year and now is the time. Good healthy fish bro!:D
