Okay, after the tease, and without "spot burning" how far do you think that monster swam to where you caught it. I often wonder how many of the tagged trout that are stocked in various waterways are ever captured and for those that have been, how long they have been at large.

Thanks everyone! Im just happy she swam away strong. God was she a beauty, watching her displace the water as she got ready for the strikes. Like a submarine cruising the surface hitting landmines. Took me four attempts to get her to commit. I was trembling after the first attack and she swam back into hiding. 3 More Times she came barreling out like jaws attacking the Orca. The one time i needed a go pro....ugh....all in all it was incredible, i can care less about prizes or awards....im in it for the experience and the science of where, why, and how. What an experience.....

Theres nothing better than seeing a big trout chomp at your lure then getting that connection. Wonderful fish, jimmy!

Great catch! The high water definitely made the fish much more mobile. I bet a lot of clubs lost fish unless they were feeding them.
