1/19 Raritan Report

Went out today in search of trout in the Raritan. Started out in the main branch in Bradley Gardens with 1/16 oz black maribou jig. Snag. Nada. 1/8 oz 2" grub. Snag. Nada. Rebel Tracdown rainbow pattern in deep stretch produced beautiful male rainbow.
After that Duke Island park no luck with same plug. Next, the north branch off 202. Same lure, no results.

Nice fish from the big water! :D hard to find em in there.

I picked up some 1/8th oz jigs at Sporting Life, need 'em lately for the BIG water. It's needles and haystacks down here on the Raritan but you get that warm fuzzy feeling when that trout hits the bank, nice fish !!
