first fish of 2019

hit the big river today. always trying for walleye but didn't happen. went to the spot that i got a muskie at last year and almost got the skunk. luckily i got a nice pickeral on a crankbait to save the day. first fish of the year and first pickeral from the big d. hit up a couple more spots and lost a tank smallie. nice day out on the river, beats sitting home and talking to the wife:eek:. no pic sorry.

i went for like an hour after work the other day and landed one nice but little wild brown... also lost something after 2 seconds but the current was pretty strong so honestly, it could've been a big trout or a stick hahaha

My first and only fish in 2019 was a Carnegie Lake gizzard shad.
