Saturday-
Had the afternoon to do some fishing. Didn’t feel like dragging the boat out pressed for time and the wind was kinda shitty. Rivers are flooded big and small but the headwaters and a few choice spots are running crystal clear. Just finished up on the NB which is running high and fast. Bleh!!! Happy to get a few wild Trout for sure. Couple nice Bows and a couple beautiful Browns came to the net today. Biggest fish was like 13 inches or so!

Met up with Cap’n Mike Kolodziej this morning for a Trouser Trout trip at the one and only Round Valley! Started off chilly in the morning but once that sun came out it was a beautiful winter day. The fishing was slow over all but we managed to pick a fish here and there. Some nice silvery Rainbows and Lake Trout to 24 inches are now pronounced DEAD at the scene of the crime. LOL!!! The smoker will be filled for Christmas! TIGHT LINEZ!!!

Monday, Christmas Eve!!!
Met up with Mike Kolodziej again today to do some Troutin’! We always fish somewhere on Christmas Eve, LOL! Another cold slow start to the day but once it warmed up the fish started chewing pretty good. I managed 3 Rainbows, 5 Brown Trout, and a Golden Trout on a plug. This thing was sticking out like a sore thumb in the clear water. I can’t believe it whacked the plug. Hahahahaha! Wow!!! What a morning! Here’s some fish pics from today! Its been a fun couple of days fishing. Off to spend time with the family now.
