Welpppp.... i Decided to change gears this weekend and hitch the big bad black mamba up for a despretley needed road trip, got Steve president of round valley trout assiocation On the horn and we headed up Saturday and came home today. Lotta fish getting ready not to far away from doing there thangggg. Saturday morning ten mins in dipsy rod goes off dumps the spool and it was off. Found a batch thick just stacked up and continued to pound the area with no one around going 4/8 keeping the four we landed. So weird to run 3 rods lol but that was all we needed. Sunday we woke up got out at 730 ish and fished to noon with two on we couldn't get to the boat and then we were bombarded with a fleet aghhhhh!!!! Called it and made the long journey back to dirty jerz. Just about all our fish came on the dipsys spin dr fly combos. 300' feet out on number 2 setting for anyone headed up..... Biggest king was somewhere between 25-30 ish.
