Did very good with quantity, just over a dozen fish took the chartreuse grub. Surprisingly 4 fish out of one spot. None huge but a size I cant complain with. Normally dont do this good on the wading the main stem.

Wish I had waders on today. Was getting chilly out there especially with the rain starting to drizzle later on. Water itself is still warm enough.

Getting Autumn vibes as leaves were coming out of the trees, i guess from the high winds. If you're considering top water the leaves might be a problem.

Also hit the lamington Monday and managed a nice 14 inch bass along with several dinks in a somewhat new stretch.

Amazing when you float/fish/wade the river in late August and early September you are the first one to see the leaves changing color, nice SMB !

The topwater bite has been pretty good recently if you venture out super early or stay til dark. Great looking catch buddy! You can have phenomenal Smallie fishing from now til November on that river. Watch out for the big one, she’s about 23 inches long, you hook her your going for a ride! :D

Something to be said about the Whopper Plopper !!
Our day started out on the Lamington, really nice looking pocket water for SMB. I peeled off for home, he went to the big water.
