Of course not fresh water and of course on one of my yearly kayak trip adventures. My second trip to Christmas Island (1300 miles south of Hawaii).

80 lb. Yellow Fin Tuna.....what a battle....an hour and 15 minutes without getting one crank on the reel for the first 40 minutes....Still feeling the rush !!

Those Yellowfin grow up to 200+ pounds, what if you hooked into a 200 lb. tuna !

Ha !!! We were trolling and catching a few each day from the boat that were in the 30-40 lb range...that was what I was hoping for LOL...This 80 lb fish took everything I had to land it. I hooked up with a couple others from the kayak and so did my friend...we either got spooled or broken off by all the other tuna in this size range that we hooked from the kayak.

a 200 lb. tuna...from the kayak....I wold say is almost impossible !!
