Independence day Piking! 7/4/2018

Got out with the traveling angler himself, Mr. JDTuna. Its good to have someone close to home that enjoys Pike fishing. I shot him text and he made his way to the river in no time. We bounced around the grounds and had a few swings, misses, blow ups and each landed a fish over 30 inches. The fish landed were very close in size at around 33-34 inches. Great fight in these fish right now I must say. Drag was rippin' and the fish are doing some awesome leaps out off the water. Nice morning session before the festivities begin this afternoon! Good to fish with you Justin. You are a mad man out there. You fellas should've seen this maniac rescue a lure from a fallen tree. I swear I thought he was going for a swim, LOL!!! TIGHT LINEZ ALL!!!

Looks EXACTLY like the Millstone, I should know because I just put in at Manville and motored up with the canoe 2 miles.

Great to fish you too, buddy! Definitely a great session on the water...quality fish action with angry pike! Gotta love these fish. I might have taken a swim for that lure...it just caught a fish lol.
