Hello everyone, i just figured i would introduce myself to the community. I grew up fishing the lakes and rivers of Illinois (poorly) lol. I've never really been much of a Fisher though. Now I've taken up an interest since i took my 4 year old fishing a couple weeks ago. I live right by the Delaware river. Hopefully I'll start putting up some pictures this weekend if I'm lucky. My main interest is Walleye. They've always been my favorite fish to eat.

Plenty of Striped Bass in the river rite now! Forget about the Shad run you missed I guarantee if you hook a nice 15-20lb Striper the only time you will be back fishing that trout stream is for more Striper bait!

I am definitely going to try and get out there one night this week. I'm very unsure about exactly where i should go to fish from shore. I've been trying to look at the map and figure it out. Any advice? I only have one rod right now, and it has 6lb test on it. Not ideal for bigger fish.

Yea your going to have to upgrade to something much heavier than 6lb test unless your reel holds a thousand yards of line and you have lots of time to play a fish lol!!! I don’t fish down in the P-burg area to much but years back I used to fish behind the waste treatment plant that was always a good spot. Go across the free bridge into Easton and fish where the Lehigh river dumps into the Delaware just below the falls it’s fast water but trust me it holds big fish! I’ve already said to much and will probably get a ass chewing from someone on hear for Spot Burning so if you are truly serious about fishing PM me and without sounding like a total D-bag if your not then don’t PM me! I live for fishing and love to help anyone out that has a passion for it and is new to my area!
