The day started out with heavy rain and ended up hot and humid. Not everyone had keepers but it paid to sail early as we had our first limit at 8:30 which is before many other boats even start fishing. Conditions were tough for most of the day with not much drift.
We have had a week of fluking and here are a few observations. Bait has been best on most days with our best fishing in the middle of the boat. Also pay attention to color as it has changed each day. There has not been much life in the bay but the fluke keep coming in each day.
Chariie Oh from Martinsville Had the pool today.
Saturday looks good with light wind and the forecast i see says most of the rain will be in South Jersey and later in the afternoon. I hope the get it right.
Sunday and Monday look no good and I doubt that we will shape up.
7:00 AM first boat out and galley open.
