NJSquatch and I headed out last Thursday for a quick nighttime trip. We had steady action most of the night. NJSquatch got the multi-species award with some nice largemouth, walleye and a monster pickerel. Almost all of his fish were on topwater as well. It was so big we thought it was a small musky before it was in the net. I ended up with a bunch of walleye, including a new personal best at 26 inches and change. Here are some pics:

Great fish, congrats on pb. But I'm dying to see that big pickerel.

We had to perform surgery to get the treble out that had its lower and upper jaw pinned together. Didn't want to stress it out any more so I released it without a pic. The thing was easily 26" and thick as hell. This is the first pickerel that either one of us have caught in the pitch black.

Night time is the right time!
