Never heard that one lol. Those phrases largely vary from region to region. In any case, I doubt wind direction has much of an effect on that lake.

Its regional. West wind is the worst in South Florida, and south wind is terrible for inshore saltwater in NJ.

HaHa! Well.... to be honest, I always wear a life jacket since suffering that massive heart attack a year & a half ago.........
