crappie hunting again

with my nantucket cod trip canceled looks like i will be looking for the crappies
up the cong this weekend.good luck to all who head out tomorrow and be safe

crappie fishing is probably the smart call this weekend...unfortunately i am not smart and will be out with the hoards on the rivers

surprisingly a few places i looked at weren't running too high. def cold water though and i'm sure the places i want to fish will be high hahaha...stuck in tradition though so that's what i'll be doing.

lets hope we find those slabs this weekend. i fished brady bridge yesterday and only caught three perch one of them spilled out eggs when i lifted it out of the water to unhook it. tight lines to all who go out

used to trout the rockaway when i was young.when i turned 17 i brought a 16ft
deep v and started hitting lake ontario and could never bring myself to fish for these little stockies again.besides i love that crappie fishing
