Wow, another species off my list :)

Starter the day driving around trying to avoid POSTED signs.

Final stop was at a public park (yet still found some posted signs that were avoidable)

Started fishing a big wide hole where a small waterfall poured in, but wasn't getting any luck. Some nasty clouds roll in and me in my T-shirt git cold and headed back in fear of getting drenched on.

Get to my car and considered just quitting but went back at it. Had some hours to kill.

Finally got a hook up in a slow pool, and I was in AWE when I saw it was my first brown.

Found another pool and before I cast I see topwater takes. I got ready expecting first cast hook up. When I did, saw two trout blitz for my micro jig. A tiny one.

I worked the hole and got another, bit bigger than the 2nd.

Plenty of other hits and fish that came off through the beautiful stream.

Hmmm.... Looking for a brookie now :D

Damn, now I need to get a brown to tie you and a brook to take the lead!
Nice going. Congrats, again.

Sweet.

The posted signs up there are a PITA. And I've found the residents to not be the friendly sort either.

Nice job with your first brown. Now that your experienced you should have no problem catching a bunch more!
