I'll be out there at some point.

Last weekend the crappie wanted the lure stationary while the perch wanted it moving.

crazy isn't it!!! that's half the fun figuring them out.i hope they bite be so i can dip some in the panco and fry them up in the cast iron skillet .

oh yea capt ed, panko fried crappies gotta love that. hope to get out on the north end of the cong tomorrow as well. lets hope that there is not to much skim ice in the shallow coves to deal with. nothing the old town ice breaker can't handle.

I was at my secret spot north of brady bridge and the crappie, white and yellow perch were chompin all day long!!!! My other usual spots were dead. water temps were 38-39 degrees.

is anyone getting consistent size yet...that is the question i'm interested in :)

That was def lacking from what we had. a few decent ones here and there, but no real piles of porkers that we found.
