I added the second outing to the first because I thought the third would some time off. Had planned to go to the show at Rockland Community College today but after looking at the long range forecast, I didn't want wait another three weeks before going again especially with the moon phase. As it turned out the weather predictions were wrong and conditions were the best of the last three days, along with the fish. Started at 10 and fished until 4 with water temps of 43-44 degrees. Started off with a 15" LM on a jig and the next on a jerk bait.(1st pic). After that my better half took it up a notch with a nice LM that went 5-11oz on a jig, the fish of the day.(2nd pic I don't usually weight them) Marked a lot of fish but couldn't get them to bite and of course where I didn't mark any fish I caught my third and final on a jig. (3rd) The boss closed out the day with another LM on a jerk bait. We were pretty happy with four quality fish the first day of March.

no smallies and browns this time?

Different body of water with primarily LM. The BT and SM are few and far between.
