cranberry follow up report

went back to cranberry today with my friend to fish on his b-day and the fish were still playin nice. i did not have to much time to jig today because we had to tend tip ups and the grill. flags were flyin and the fish were hitting the ice. we caught 10 slime darts, 10 perch, 3 lmb and my pb bullhead catfish. it figures the one day i did not bring a tape to the lake and i land a monster bullhead. stay tuned i am going to post a pic when my nephew helps me downsize the pic that i took( that's right icebadger is going to post some fish porn) hopefully if all goes well. this fish was about 18" the biggest bullhead i have ever gotten. caught it on a live shiner.the fish were in the same depth as yesterday. i was glad to put my friend on fish for his b-day.we had a good time out there. i just love to ice fish and share time catching fish with good people is priceless.:cool:

thanks you guys.squatch the bucket brigade already has been there you should have seen the holes drilled all over place and i had to clean up empty mini vodka bottles and papers and such all over the parking lot and on the ice.the game warden came out and checked our licenses and said he saw them there, he also said that was one of the biggest bullheads he has ever seen caught in this part of the state and said that it probably was close to the record fish caught in lake of the woods in fort dix it was 4.8 lbs. since i let it go to fight another day he only had my pics to look at and could not be sure.

an 18inch bullhead is an absolute monster. biggest one i've heard of!

Thanx for cleaning up after the slobs. One year at Aeroflex guys were riding power augers like pogo sticks, a cloud of 2 stoke smoke hovered above the lake !
