heading up to fish streams around warren county, this morning . wondering if anyone has a stream report ? Don't no how much rain you guy got there?

Always go, winter is a great time for scouting since all the foliage is gone.
Get familiar with the USGS river gauges.

I went Andy. Friends told me rivers were clear , thats all I needed to here . Fished S.B. . Started under route 31 no love . Moved up above califon, found one rainbow up there . All in all, it was a great day , love fishin this time of year

I was out today as well downstream from you. Fished above and below the Duke Island dam from 4-6 and got skunked. Glad you had better luck!

Thanks , I usually fish the musky an pequest , but I want to learn more about the SB . So I stayed on that all day . At the end of the day I had 4 deer cross the stream 30 yards from me ,real cool . good luck to ya, on your next trip .

I am sure they were there, but they didn’t seem to like what I was offering (including the marabou hair jig....). I was suprised myself, the conditions seemed perfect (50 degrees and overcast with the current high but not too high) but regardlesss it was a nice two hours on the river.

My guess is that stocked trout are everywhere now that we had yet another big water flow spike last week. I wonder what the Big river icebergs that flowed through changed anything to the fishery.
Additionally, despite the good weather, the river temps were still cold.
Just my excuses for why I haven't been catching much myself either :P
