successful kdc ice contest

i fished the knee deep ice contest today and had a bunch of perch playing nice. not very big but i ended up with a half dozen nice perch for the table. the fish were spread out on a flat in about 8 to 24 feet they were right on the bottom, i was bouncing my jig on the bottom and slowly lifting up and they hit. had to do alot of hole hopping to get them. all in all a good day out on the ice.

Was at the Big Lake as well but did not enter the contest. We too found Perch in depths up to 36FOW. We swung for the fences but didn't end up with anything worth while.
