So I dry docket my boat with the birth of my first born and sold it when my second came... now I’m in the market for a kayak... looking for all kinds of recommendations. I know I want a boat peddle propeller! Any and all recommendations requested. From boat to accesories and fish finder... give me what you got please..

I am an avid kayak fisherman and this was not an easy decision. It would be helpful to know what your height and weight is. Also what will you be doing with the kayak and where? I am assuming you plan to fish from it but where do you plan to fish, Bay, Ocean, Lake, River?

I will be glad to help as best as I can.

I’m 6’1” and 215. I plan to fish the bay mostly and if a nice day maybe get into the ocean. Mostly fluke and bass fishing

I'd say it'd also depend a lot on how you plan on getting from point A to B (car top/roof rack, truck bed, trailer, etc.). I have a Hobie Outback and love it, but I gotta say it's a bitch to lift over my head to get it on the after market roof rack on top of my car (which also ran another $400 on top of the already $2000 kayak). It would be tough, at least for me personally, to lift anything much heavier over my head by myself. Old Town Predator PDL is a good option too, but would be near impossible to lift overhead alone and is much better suited for a trailer. Way too long of an answer, but I love my everything about the Outback besides lifting it up after pedaling all day, but that's why it's best to go with a buddy!
