First 2018 Trout Trip...with a monster (1/15/18)

Wasn't planning on fishing, but I ended up have a couple of hours free so I decided to head to a new creek I'd never fished before for trout. I'm glad I did. I ended up with a 15 inch rainbow and a monster 23 inch wild brown trout.

Love & respect son. The reply went to the poster. That boy is always talkin sh*t. I spend my time on the Cumberland now. When I'm not there I'm fishing the Caney Fork. You find your way to Tn, make sure you pm me first. I'm 30 minutes from Carthage/Cordell Hull and 30 minutes to Old Hickory. Life can be good.

Below Center Hill Dam, the stream crosses into Smith County and is bridged by Interstate 40 no less than five times. This downstream section is annually stocked with Rainbow, Brown, and Brook Trout by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and is considered to be one of the best trout rivers in the state. A final bridge is on U.S. Route 70N near the Elmwood community; the river's mouth into the Cumberland River which also considered to be a world class Striper fishery is almost directly opposite the Smith County seat of Carthage.
