good start to ice season '17-'18

Iced a couple of nice fish in the first few trips this ice season. off to a good start: 35" pike, 24.5" pickerel, 13" perch

Fishing has been slow in general, but nicer sized fish always trumps quantity in my book :)

Hahaha!!! Good start there pork chop! I’m 41! I’m a contractor, I don’t have a cushy indoor job like you and I’m not off half the year. Oh and I have kids, I don’t shoot blanks like most of my fishing comrades, LOL! After beating up my body fixing other people’s homes I think it’s about time I live in the lap of luxury with a shanty and heater! So take that and shove it in your hat and eat it!!!

I love to ice fish, but I'm a bit of a fair weather ice angler. I prefer two digit temps and they have to start with at least a 2. Good for those who are out there in single digit temps and into the teens. Been there, done that, but not anymore.
