Got a chance to get out on the boat Saturday (10/28) with the wife for a few hours from 10 to about 2:30. Decided to hit RV since it is only 15 minutes from the house and try that trout thing. So I suck at the trout thing and switched to looking for some bass. Threw a bunch of stuff and finally found some success with a 10 inch watermelon green Zoom ole monster t rigged with a 3/8 oz bullet weight in 20 feet of water around a large weed bed. Ended up with three on the day so it wasn't a bust. RV can be tough for them LM so I was satisfied and one was a nice fatty...perfect health and color coming up out of that clear water. Looked like a painting. Pretty fish. At least it was only windy from 10 to 2:30...man that place can be bumpy. Love my 80lb thrust Terrova with auto pilot on days like that...Thanks again to WayneDayne for selling me that beauty. And pulling out with waves crashing the beach is always fun. It was a beautiful day though so can't really complain. The wife got the skunk so it was a quiet ride home. Thankfully the wine rack is well stocked so she got over it. Pic of the biggest one to prove it...2 pics of the same fish just to be clear.

Launch wasn't bad at all. You can back straight down past the end of the ramp now. Launching section is as wide as the real ramp so much better than the setup they had last year. It isn't as low as last year though either...at least it did not seem to be. I saw some bigger boats launching without having an issue as well.

Good job. I've had a hard time getting any LMB at Round Valley. A few dinks but that was about it in years of fishing for them there. It is just so diferent from the usual bass waters I've fished most of my life.
