Default Union County Channel Catfish

Are there any places in Union County where I could fish for nice sized channels. I've tried echo lake but only caught bullhead.
Thanks

Ive caught some in rahway river, the stretch from winfield park to rahway park is your best bet.

Elizabeth ave rahway river. This time of year snappers, schoolie stripers, channel cats and a while back those lil mackerel used to come in. Biggest channel I ever saw was looking down off the bridge in like 1989, this thing was bigger than the 20 lb carp we were catching, hell this cat was TWICE the size of the carp.

I live on the border of union county and somerset county and find the bulls common in just about all ponds, lakes, rivers, and large stream pools (about pound size on average). if you want to go a little farther I caught about a 7 or 8lb channel in the D&R canal catfish night.
