Default Captain Cal Party Boat Fluke Report 8-3-12

The fluke bite we had yesterday was slowed down by the S.E ground swells and north tide, it put a damper on fishing today , Yesterday was hot fishing today it was only warm fishing. We moved around to different areas. We started in 35 ft. of water moved to 45 ft, tried 55-65 ft . and even 70 ft depths, we fished over mussel beds and hills, our drift was a measly .4 kts.. We did catch some sea bass and fluke, but not in the quantity we had yesterday. Tomorrow has to be a better day.

This is fluke season, the fish are out there, and they are getting bigger and fatter.. Join us this weekend for a fun day, fill up your cooler with some nice quality fluke. " See you in the morning."We leave the dock at 7:30 PM, no reservations required.

Don't forget you can drive your car behind our boat, we will help you unload your gear, then you can go and park your car..

If you cannot come fishing with us in the morning, join us in the afternoon :
