Default Tank, lost (probably Abandoned) Son of Poseidon

So Tank borrowed a bucktail teaser from me while we were getting to the first location He dropped the line and BOOM - 8 lbs 4oz, 28 inch Fluke. HUH? I am still trying to hook a live killie on my kid's line.

I have a feeling that when Moses commanded the Red Sea to open, it was actually Tank who split open the Sea. Boy, he was on Today !!

Same folks as 2 weeks ago except we had Pete and Al Ristori from Star Ledgers.

This is what I wrote 2 weeks ago.

Time: 7AM-3PM
Price: $60 Adult, $25 Children
Anglers: Tank, Duke, Mick, Tom, Me & My son
Helm: Captain John
Fearless Leader of the boat: Captain Sal
Combined age of everyone except my kid (7 people) = 450 years old (I am not kidding here).

With addition of Pete and Al (9 people), we just raised the combined age to around 600 years old.

Tank calls my 9 year old "Ashman" - I have no idea where that nick name came from - does he watch kid's cartoon, Pokemon?

The Bite was on - everyone had 2-4 keepers and we all together caught over 100+ smallies. It felt like WORK at the last drift from lifting up so many flukes, sea robins, sand sharks and skates.

I and my kid caught over 20+ fish. My kid absolutely loves going on fluking with these folks. As I said before, it feels like Cheers - where everyone knows your name.

This was one fun trip.

My 9 year old told me that his bicep is so huge now from lifting up all those fish. He even brought a few live killies home - he wants to start a killie farm. Now, I have to figure out how to tell my kid that all the killies will be flushed down the toilet - I mean.. how they all went to fish heaven..

P.S. Stupid Me. Being a Bass angler, I tried to take out the hook from the fluke's mouth by grabbing his lower jaw (hmm.. does fluke have an upper jaw and lower jaw?) - OUCH !! he bit me. Either I thought it was a huge large mouth bass or a Sea Robin. Lesson learned.

P.P.S. Tank was pounding his chest as we were coming back. After I told him that I would post the pictures on this site, he was going to learn how to use a computer (I hope he is a fast learner). OR more than likely, he is going to bother one of his kids and grandkids to show him how to get to this site.
