Default 6/29 Evening Fluke-Bass trip for Gene & Aaron

Tonight we had Dr Gene and his son Aaron onboard for some Fluke and Bass Fishing. Left the dock at 6 pm Great weather. Made a run to the grounds and we had a stiff west wind blowing with the outgoing.

Set our first drift and we were going 2.9 knotts, threw out the drift sock and we came down to 1.9, still a tad fast. Took a bit but then the poles started to bend, Aaron put a keeper Fluke in the box. A few more shorts and Sea Robbins and Dr Gene put a keeper in the box. Lost a few nice fish half way up. Played catch and release with some shorts before switching over to bass.

At about dark switched over to Bassing, made a short run and began drifting. Read fish but no takers. Headed back in at 1030p. Great time on the water with a fantastic Dad that loves to share the outdoors with his son, and Aaron is a great student of the outdoors and fishing and has learned to love and respect nature.
