Default Scoundrel first dedicated fluke trip

Broke the inlet @0800 and was greeted by acres of bunker broken up into smaller pods. Went the liveling rout for an hour or so with no results. There were bass caught, just not on the pods I was working.

Went off to some lumps to the NE and set up to fluke. Lots of action with shorts with some keepers mixed in. ZERO boats out today, seemed otherwordly.

Ended the day with six keepers, biggest may have gone 4.5 lbs. Lots of fun with a great crew.

My pb striper I caught last week turned into 51 absolutley delicious striper cakes. Served them for fathers day last weekend in the hood and I needed at least another 51!

As an aside, the power of mother nature should never be forgotten. As we were wrapping it up today, the seas went from glass to a washing machine in less than 15 minutes.
