Back Bay Beatdown - Flukin
Fished the outgoing yesterday afternoon.
Starated out slow and as the ebb approached it picked up. Had 10 fish - keeping 3 up to 4lbs. Dropped one that was about 6 or 7lbs. Plain old fluke rig - nothing fancy Squid and spearing combo. No touches on the bucktail. Tons of bunker tried to snag and drop. Had something chase it - hit it and that was it. Not sure if it was a Bass or Blue. Came home with meat. Freezer is full from the past couple of trips. Back at it again this Sunday

buoy 53 area
and buoy 46 - I call it the dinner bell good action all on spearing squid combo in 42-51 ft of water 2 rods - one with a shorter leader about 14 inches produced better than my normal 23 inch leader. 20 lb braid to a 3 way with 4 oz weight and 20lb mono leader to a gami hook I dropped a very nice fish trying to be cool and getting my video camera up and running...lesson learned - I am a fisherman - not a camera man! I did get some nice bites on the spro jig in a secret spot i plan on trying Sunday on my way out....
