Thanks Chad for sailing with only three today. I had my two teacher buddies who have never fished really before, asking me to take them out. I hopped on Chad's open boat, only to find out we were the only three guys. We went in search of Stripers with the whole boat to ourselves. After seeing the guys swinging and missing a few times, Chad gave them some lessons and sure enough they hooked into some Blues, which for inexperienced fishermen is a thrill. I managed to pic a Bass through the Blues at the first spot on a bunker chunk. We then moved and tried clammin thinking it would be a little easier on the newbies. Fortunatley, the two rooks each got their first Bass ever! They were thrilled. All of a sudden, seasickness got one guy and then the other. I've never gotten seasick so I have no idea what it feels like, but they looked like they were both in rough shape. It brought one guy to his knees hugging the side of the boat and the other layed flat out on the bench inside. Chad and I kept fishing for a little while,,, busting the newbies balls, but they were not laughing one bit. We pulled up early and took them out of their misery. Once they hit the dock they got better and were hungry. We shared a beer, busted their chops some more and then headed to lunch. Their lesson for the day in addition to how to set the hook was to visit the nearest drugstore and purchase some Dramamine before heading out on their next trip

Good for them on there first Striper! Nice of Chad to sail with only three guys! Sounds like a great day on the water for you guys even though they got seasick but they still caught their share. I guess, we can't take them Offshore for Cod yet ![]()
