O.E,Thursday
2-23-12 The fishing and the catching took a turn for the worse for us today.A large ground swell greeted us at the inlet this morning.That along with some gusty winds kept us rockin all day long.Never got rough,but man did we rock and roll!!!!Everywhere we stopped today we had a sprinkle of ling come up.Nothing that ever lasted though.Made alot of moves to scrape together a small catch of em.High had maybe a dozen but there were alot on board that only had a few or none or six or three etc.....We never even had a keeper Tog or Cod either.Tough day all around.Weather for tomorrow is not so hot,we shall see what its like in the morning.

He really did try hard to anchor us up on some good spots, but the new moon tide and wind gave us all we could handle at times. The tog never came up, which is not surprising with the new moon tide. Should have known when I didn't spot Blackfish Bobby in the mix of about 40 - 45 fares. LOL.
Met some nice people on the boat and the mates were excellent. Had a great day on the water with Capt Bobby Q onboard his O.E. I'm sure I'll be back soon.
