Default Paramount 1/28

Nice day on the paramount sat. Fishing was a little tough with strong currents
and guys useing light weights made for lots of tangles. A good bit of ling in the small to med size mixed with some big ones where caught with a few cod and Big pollock including my wifes pool winning 15-16 lber. 16 oz was a must to fish today and it was nice and calm in the am but wind pick up on the ride home soaking the boat and pushing all in side. Nice to fish with Jon and Madeline again , madeline is a great ling catcher( see photo) ended the day with a nice bucket of ling and a few good meals planed

Nice fish and glad to see that the young one got some. Last time I fished with her was after the hurricane and it was very tough but she stuck it out and got a few.

We had a great day. Beautiful weather, dolphins, a bunch of Ling. We topped off our day with sandwiches from Joey Leone's that we ate by the inlet.

Mate Mike filleted up some of my Ling and the strip bait did quite well for us. I tried some Gulp but I didn't get much action on it.

Current was pretty strong. I was using 12 and had Maddie using 14 oz. Unlike the Kid next to us using braid and 6 oz. Lots of tangles.

Nice to see Black Bear and his Wife again.

Kirk- That was a tough day last time we fished together, It was right after Irene and the water was pretty churned up. You and BigBassJim helped us out that day by sharing your catches with us.

Looking forward to get back out again.

Glad she saw the dolphins too. They have been quite thick for the past month or so. Some days they hang around for an hour on and off, some days, a quick fly by.

Nice job on that pollock I saw your wife fight that from bow to mid stern and avoided all those yo-yo's in between, great job,it was unfortunate that it was too nice in the morn and couldn't stay well on the anchor, I wish we stayed on that drop longer than the last one...lol it was puke city for many on the way home- I was the guy behind mate mike in coveralls, and yes we were Fishin with 16-20 oz and it was needed
