Default D&R canal near Manville- conditions??

been a long few days at work so looking to fish somewhere this weekend- depending on east winds, i might try the canal.. any recent reports?? i know irene ripped that area up pretty good- did it finally recover a bit

I haven't been back over there yet. If you go let us know how you did, don't be afraid to do some throws in the Raritan.

I was by the canal today....good enough to fish. The Millstone was still a bit high and stained, but fishable as well. I saw/heard some big surface smacks out towards the middle. Don't think they were carp jumping.
