Talking Finally some smallies!!!

Afer work, I hit the Passaic near Two Bridges in Wayne and was finally able to hook up with some smallmouth. In the past few weeks I have traveled to different parts of the Raritan and the Passaic anytime I heard whispers of them. Last night using a rattle trap I scored 4 of them. The largest was about 2 pounds. I also nailed a nice sized perch.

Nice, Mondo!

I come home to Riverdale via Route 80 every day and might need to take my rod/reel to work one day soon to check out the SMB action.

Let me know if you want to hit a spot some time. I haven't been there yet so I'm not sure best spots for parking and hiking.

Good report!

-Dave

Congrats on the catch. It was about this time last year that I did a killing on Smallies in the Passaic. Biggest was close to 3lbs...all on wacky rigged senkos.
