I wanted to take this opportunity wish everyone a happy and healthy new year and share the following quote:

As I look back upon our 2009 season I wanted to take a moment to personally thank those NJ fishing members who fished with us and share these other quotes which sum up the surprises and accomplishments of our 2009 season.

Some Personal bests by John (semperfly 10#tog), Hollywood Mike (fishpro28 8# tog) and my own PB Striped Bass (48# ALS tagged & released). The Drum on a Jig in June fits the Robert Altman quote so well. And John Buchan's quote sums up the Bluefin this season.

We covered a lot of water together in pursuit of what is elusive but attainable fishing with old friends and made some new friends along the way too. I hope to see everyone again in 2010 and for those where the timing never worked out, hopefully this year we'll hook up.

I hope that we cross paths in the off season at the 2010 Fishing Flea Markets like the Hi-Mar on Feb 13th. We are planning to put on another great Seminar Series covering Spring (Capt Billy Rowan - NJF billythekid), Fall (Captain Alan Beneroff - NJF NetKeeper Sportfishing) & Surf fishing (Allen Riley - NJ Angler Magazine) for Stripers and Bluefin Tuna jigging (Capt Brian Rice - Jersey Devil).
