Default 11/26/09 - Netkeeper Toggin

Went out with Captain Allen and some others for a half day of togging. Well the anchoring conditions were less than ideal and the birds were apparently according to the striper guys "too good to pass up". So we stopped for a bit to play with the stripers. Less than an hour later we had a boat limit of fish.

I want to thank Captain Allen and the other guys. My first time ever boating a keeper striper. I've gone out before and have caught them incidentally but never targeted them. Always been a bottom fishermen. The Tog and Anchoring conditions did NOT cooperate and it was a short day. I personally got skunked on Tog but managed to box 3 of those stripers one being of nice size I'm told.

The Tog that did get boxed were some quality. One going just over 10 pounds.

I'm sure Allen will post his "official" report later, but as someone who had never been on the boat before I give it and the captain and mate a thumbs up. Meanwhile I feel beat up and am gonna try and get some sleep.
