NETKEEPER - Saturday Night 10/3 American Littoral Society Striped Bass Tagging Trip
Had fellow Hi-Mar member Ian Farruggio and American Littoral Society Fish Tagging Program Director Jeff Dement aboard the NetKeeper looking for our first fall Stripers Saturday night.
At our first drop we had wind against tide with the tide winning out and the boat spinning. Moved onto another spot where I knew we would be able drift over some structure and every pass for a little over an hour we had singles or doubles on at a time. We played catch and release with 20 shorts, returning 9 of them with ALS tags in them between 15" and 26" fork tail length. Everything was caught on Sandworms. These all looked to be resident fish. Sorry no pics both Jeff and I left the camera in the car.
